Welcome to Coldbrook Travel Soccer!
Here are a few things to remember to help you make this season your best yet:
- Attend practices. If you cannot make it to practice, communicate with your coach as soon as you know so they may adjust their plan.
- Remember that in practice and in matches, you are developing skills to take with you to your next soccer experience. Lose, win or draw, you will come away from games and the season with more fitness, knowledge and experience than if you hadn’t participated.
- You are part of a TEAM. Learn your teammates’ rolls as well as your own. Spend time understanding game rules and strategies. Work as a UNIT.
- You represent Coldbrook Travel Soccer Club. Make yourself and all of us proud of you by being a good sport. Never back-talk teammates, opponents, coaches or referees!
- You will be asked to read and sign the player agreement for the season. This agreement outlines the expected behaviors of you as a player.
- Play a clean game – no foul play.
- Talk and ask questions with your coach about practice and/or match concerns.
- Coldbrook Travel Soccer Club coaches and assistants are expected to report any suspected cases of child-abuse or neglect, and therefore must share with the proper authorities any information regarding same that is divulged to them by players.
- To be your best, make sure to get proper nutrition and rest.
