Volunteer for our Board of Directors

With the season quickly approaching, we want to begin shifting our focus to the future. We are again looking for new members to join our Board of Directors as many of our current volunteers have players that will be aging out soon.
Our approach this time around is to post all of our open or soon to be open roles, in hopes of finding qualified candidates looking to help our club continue to grow. If you are interested in any of these roles or have questions, please send us a message on FB or email : info@coldbrooksoccer.com.
Scheduler – The Club Scheduler handles all communications to/from the coaching staff and RSU 22 with regards to field availability and scheduling of practice sessions. Additionally, they’re responsible for the coordination of field scheduling for all home games along with the Referee Coordination for said games along with any other Coldbrook events requiring RSU 22 field usage.
Referee Coordinator – The Referee Coordinator works with the local Referee Assignor to ensure all CTSC games have appropriate referee coverage; provides game assignments to selected referees and acts as referee advocate on Board of Directors. Works directly with the Scheduler or can be done by that person as well.
Secretary – The Secretary shall keep the minutes for the Board of Director’s meetings and post these minutes on the website after approved by the Board, be custodian of the corporate records and see that the seal of the Corporation is affixed to all documents, keep a register of the post office address and telephone number of each director; and in general, perform all duties incident to the office of the Secretary and such duties as from time to time may be assigned.
Risk Management Officer – The Risk Manager shall be responsible for ensuring the club’s compliance with USYSA and Soccer Maine requirements as well as industry guidance and best practices for minimizing the club’s risk. This includes ensuring that insurance coverage and policies are current and that club members, especially board members, coaches and other team personnel, are knowledgeable of and adhere to their role in minimizing risk for the club.
Communications Director – The Communications Director works to ensure that all communication platforms, including social media, are kept up to date with club communications, policies, and announcements. They will also draft and distribute all club communications and gain approval of said communications from the Board of Directors.
Fundraising Chair- The Fundraising Chair will focus on the fundraising efforts of the club. This may include, but are not limited to, sponsorships, donations, grants, and scholarships. They may develop a subcommittee of non-Board members to assist in organizing and executing on fundraising activities for the club.
